Camping Agay-soleil

A busy little campsite so probably worth pre-booking. We were lucky and just turned up and got a pitch. Set up more for motorhomes than tents. The facilities are great and more than enough for the number of pitches. You can walk out directly onto the beach and the small town is a 10 minute walk away, with a supermarket, ATM, restaurants and cafes. The restaurant on site seemed busy every day, we had 2 expensive beers but didn't eat there.

Emailed to ask about availability they said to call up to book a pitch which I did, when I turned up they had no record of my booking and instead offered me a car parking space to pitch my tent in, decided to go elsewhere. Since then they've emailed to say I never called them which is untrue and unprofessional, avoid at all costs awful staff.

Great campsite! The pitches by the sea (you're literally parked 1-2 meter from the water, with a fence between) are definitely worth the extra price to enjoy the lovely sunset in the evening and great view during the day. Some pitches are a bit smaller than others and some don't have that much privacy, but the view makes up for it. 2 grocery stores and several bars and restaurants within 5 minute walking. Restaurant on camping is ok. Also very friendly and helpfull staff! Sanitary facilities are clean and modern, but quite dark during the day as they don't turn on the lights. In addition, there's no toilet paper, toilets don't have seats and in april 2023 one of the 3 toilet stalls in men's bathroom was closed. Highly recommended, I will come back if I'm ever in the region again.

Perfect location right beside the clear sea waters of the French Rivieras. Although a cozy campsite, other campers were respectful and only noise came from restaurant, which closed before too late. Toilets were fairly clean (no toilet roll) and showers had hot water. You could also order really tasty croissant and baguettes! There is another beach a quick walk away by turning right on the road, which is a bit nicer in my opinion, but the campsite beach is lovely to walk on in the evening. Great hikes nearby, including Cap du Pic Roux.

My main critic is related to the services, the ladies there treat you like they make you a huge favor, furthermore you are not allowed to wash only when they want and how they want. For example I went and asked for a wash, money were taken (6 euro/wash) but I was postponed later in the evening because the boss (the lady behind the windows) just decided on the spot and after I paid that had another plans with the three washing machines. .And then later that evening they fixed me to wash with the short program 30 minutes. You would thing that for 6 euros a wash at least you are allowed to choose. No way. So that my baby clothes had stains even after the wash. So there is no such thing like client service. I also asked for a better place, even if it was free, but the response was that someone booked earlier, even though admittedly the number per se was not reserved. later I saw that some other changed for the front row, with the view to the see, even if they came later. My point is that this is just discretionary, how the “boss” (who is about 20-30 and very rude and has total lack of availability) woke up that day. It’s a shame!

Wonderful place to stay. View is 10/10 if you can get the front pitches. Electricity, hot showers nearby. Bathroom could be better but its ok. Not busy mid october, restaurant at the premises is good and super convenient. Owners/staff are very helpful and you can catch then singing and dancing which is lovely. Most pitches are a bit tight if you have a big camper but if you go slow its no problem.

Lovely Campsite with direct access to beach. Campsite staff seem friendly enough and speak some English. Facilities at the campsite are more than adequate- hot showers and hot water to wash up with, washing machines and ice bottles can be purchased at reception.There is a restaurant with lovely sea view. Pitches are compact and pretty close together but the campsite has a lovely atmosphere and is very relaxed. The sea is directly accessed from the campsite exit so if you want to just spend time lazing in the sea and sunbathing this campsite is amazing. Most of the pitches have plenty of shade except the ones directly on the sea front. Short walk to the village where there is a good supermarket and ice cream shops and restaurants. Cost approximately 50 euros a night for a family of 4 with car and electricity hook up. Only real downside of the site is noisy tractors sweeping beach at 7am. Only very basic playground.
